macOS 14.2+ · Beta release in preparation
The team is weighing speed against risk. A small pilot gives you a way to test both before committing to a full release.
“We could start with one customer group and agree on a rollback threshold before we expand.”
Made for the moment
you’re in.
A LITTLE PREPARATION. MORE PRESENCE.
A meeting starts long before the call. Give mter the project behind it, then ask for help when it matters.
Name your project and choose its folders and documents. Or choose search locations and review AI recommendations.
Prepare from selected local files and recent local Git history. Add a note about what you want to cover.
Start the meeting when you’re ready. Open the island for a recap, a useful contribution, or an answer with context.
HELP FOR THE NEXT MOMENT
You decide when to ask. mter uses the current discussion and your prepared project to help you rejoin it.
Try the examples aboveGet the topic, the key points, and where the conversation stands—in plain language. Choose your translation language in Preferences and switch between the translation and the original.
Look for a missing angle, a tradeoff, or a reason to disagree. Read a suggested line, then open the explanation to understand it.
Ask your own question and explore available project evidence. Evidence checks show when a point is only partly supported or still unverified.
CLEAR ABOUT YOUR CONTEXT
Choose what to include before you start. Know what stays on your Mac and what goes to an AI provider.
Projects, prepared context, and meeting history are stored locally. Stored meeting text and documents are not encrypted by mter.
The planned subscription includes transcription and AI. Audio goes to our transcription provider; relevant transcript and project excerpts pass through mter’s service for AI processing.
Start capture explicitly and grant microphone and system-audio permissions. mter shows a recording indicator. Tell participants when you record.
AI can miss context or make mistakes. Read the evidence before relying on a factual claim. Read the data guide

Meeting time: elapsed capture time, counted once even when both your microphone and meeting audio are on. Background reviews are included in those hours.
AI responses: one completed Contribute, Catch up, Ask, explanation, translation, or AI folder recommendation. Internal tool calls and automatic reviews do not use extra responses. Copy, Original, cached translations, and failed requests do not count.
Allowances reset each monthly billing period; unused allowance does not roll over. We plan to warn you at 80% and 95%. At the limit, new AI processing pauses until renewal or an upgrade; saved local content remains available. No automatic overage charges. One active meeting per account.
Prices are in USD, per person. Any applicable tax will be shown at checkout. The trial lasts 7 days from activation or until its allowance runs out, whichever comes first, and does not auto-renew.

Account access is being prepared.
Give your AI assistant a ready-made prompt to install mter, choose a language, and prepare your project.
BEFORE YOU START
No bot joins the call. The Mac app captures microphone and system audio after you start a session and grant permission.
You can select multiple local folders, code repositories, and supported documents, then add meeting notes and public links. AI discovery searches only the locations you choose; you review its picks before adding them.
Prepare reads your local checkout, its recent Git history, and selected notes. It does not fetch remote branches or pull requests. Update your local repositories first when you need the latest remote changes.
No. Your project library and meeting history are stored locally, but live transcription and AI assistance need an internet connection. The planned public release includes AI usage through your mter account.
Choose English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Arabic, or Hindi in Preferences. Meeting recaps, suggested lines, and explanations translate into your selected language; choose Original to switch back. This setting controls translation, not the app interface or transcription language.
